Herbal Tea (凉茶 - Liang Cha), particularly in the Chinese tradition, is a functional beverage brewed from medicinal herbs, roots, and flowers designed to balance the body's internal energy.

• Ancient Pharmacy: The history of Chinese herbal tea dates back over 2,000 years to the Lingnan region (modern-day Guangdong and Guangxi). Due to the hot and humid climate, people suffered from "internal dampness and heat."
• The "Wang Lao Ji" Legacy: In 1828, Dr. Wang Zebang created the first famous branded herbal tea, which became a staple for commoners and even the imperial court.
• UNESCO Recognition: In 2006, the culture of "涼茶" (Leung Cha) was listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of China, recognizing its importance in daily health preservation.
